Went on a Wikipedia link journey this morning.  It started with my last post about PETMAN being funded by DARPA.  From DARPA I went to current projects, one of which is an Army truck-mounted LASER from LASER I went to MASER.  From MASER I went to Megamaser, one of the coolest words I believe I've ever heard.  The newest Megamaser found is Arp 220, which is an Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxy(ULIRG).  Arp 220 is actually two galaxies merging, and the closest ULIRG to earth.
